Indian Air Force Vacancy 2013 – Apply for Group X (Technical) Posts in Assam & Tamilnadu

Indian Air Force (IAF) invites applications for the recruitment of airmen. Interested unmarried Indian male candidates from the state of Tamilnadu and UTs of Andaman & NicobarIslands, Puducherry and Karaikal may apply to become airmen. Job Description:
(A) Group ‘X’ (Technical):-
1) Automobile Fitter
2) Electronics Fitter
3) Electrical Fitter
4) Mechanical System Fitter
5) Structures Fitter
6) Propulsion Fitter
7) Workshop Fitter (Smith)
8) Workshop Fitter (Mechanical)
9) Weapon Fitter.

Salary: A stipend of Rs.8550/- per month will be payable to candidates during training period. Pay Band will applicable as per the regulations after successful completion of training.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed Intermediate with Maths, Physics & English. Candidate should also have completed Diploma in Engineering in specified discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from recognized Government Polytechnic Institute.

Age Limit: Candidate should be born between the dates 1st January, 1992 to 31st march 1996.

02/03/2013:- Written test, physical fitness test and interview for Group ‘X’ (Technical)
03/03/2013:- Medical Examination & Trade Allocation Test
04/04/2013 & 05/03/2013:- Reserve Days

Selection Process: Selection procedure will be based on performance given by candidate in personal interview, medical examination, verification of documents and trade allocation test.
