Total 55 vacancies are for the post of Civil Judges in Odisha Judicial Services under Law Department with pay scale of Rs.27700-44770/-.
Age limit: For this post, candidates should be above 23 years and even should be below 35 years of age.
Qualification and experience: Graduation in Law is essential for this position. A Superintendent or a Ministerial Officer in High Court or any other Civil or Criminal Court subordinate to the High Court or an Assistant Law Officer or Translator of the Law Department can also apply for this post. Fluency in Oriya language is a must.
Selection will be through a competitive examination which will consist of written examination and interview. Written examination will be further divided in preliminary examination and main examination.
Preliminary examination will be of objective type with total 100 marks and duration of exam will be 1.30 hours. Those who clears the preliminary examination will be called for main examination which will be in the form of two compulsory papers and three optional papers.
At last, shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview which will be of 100 marks. Written examination will be at the centres located at Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Balasore, Berhampur and Sambalpur.
