Punjab State Warehousing Corporation (PSWC) is the largest state warehousing corporation of the country. Its main aim is to offer basic solution and measures to agriculturists for the procurement and storage of products in warehouse and also containerization of food grains.
At present, it has 120 warehouses, 260 procurement centers along with 5 containers freight stations or inland container depots. Its head office is located at Chandigarh. It was established in 1958 by the Government of Punjab. Punjab State Warehousing Corporation invites applications from Indian Nationals for the recruitment of Accountant and Accounts Clerks posts.
Interested and eligible candidates can avail this opportunity. Mode of Applications is Online Only. No other mode of application will be acceptable. 7 posts are for Accountant under the pay scale of Rs.10300-34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.3800/-. Candidates for this post should have at least 60% marks in the master’s degree of commerce with 3 years of experience in the accounting field.
55 posts are for Accounts Clerk under the pay scale of Rs.5910-20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.1900/-. Candidates should have a Graduation Degree in Commerce stream with at least 12 hours of experience of computers from recognized institute. Candidates applying for any of the above positions should not be less than 18 years and even not more than 37 years as on 31st August 2011. Candidates those having good knowledge of accounting software will be preferred.
