Indian Oil Corporation Limited is also known as IOCL and was started in 1964. It is a state owned oil and gas company of India. Various important products are produced by IOCL like petrol, diesel, auto LPG, lubricants, aviation turbine fuel, kerosene, Xtra mile diesel, Servo lubricants, bitumen, paraffin, naphtha and many more. IOCL is seeking for qualified and experienced professionals as Engineers / Graduate Apprentice Engineers in various disciplines. And that is why; applications are invited from Indian Nationals. Interested candidates can apply from 2nd January 2012 to 11th February 2012.
Mode of application will be online only. Total 225 vacancies are available for the post of Engineers/ Graduate Apprentice Engineers [GAEs] in the discipline of Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science & Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgical Engineering.
For this post, candidate’s age should not be more than 26 years as on 30th June 2012. Pass in qualifying degree examinations and graduation degree in the relevant engineering discipline is required. Rs. 24900/- is fixed for selected engineers / officers while Rs. 35000/- per month is fixed as consolidated stipend for selected GAEs under 1 year of apprenticeship training.
Selection will be based on Graduate Aptitude Test in engineering [GATE] 2012 in the concerned discipline. On the basis of GATE-2012 score, shortlisted candidates will be called for a group discussion / group task and at last will be called for a personal interview.
