The Chief Electoral Officer’s office of Andhra Pradesh welcomes in their useful portal.

The office is governed by the Chief Electoral Officer appointed by Election Commission of India.

The Chief Electoral Officer Functions his role under overall supervision and control of the Election

Commission of India. The work related to general election and bye election is conducted by it.

This includes activities relating to electors. The main function of this office is to issue identity cards to the electors, reorganization of the polling stations, pay attention to voter’s education, implementation of model code of conduct and the instructions issued by the Election Commission of India from time to time.

The commission organizes in different parts. There are various levels; at each level officers are elected by the commissions. Work is divided among them and they all are bound to the Election Commission of India.
