Recruitment 2012 for Stenographer:
Calcutta High Court is the oldest High Court in India. Its jurisdiction is over the state of West Bengal and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. For the vacant post the court has invited application forums from Indian Nationals. Interested candidates with the required qualification (as mention in notification) can apply.
Post Details: Total 53 vacancies are for the post of Stenographer/ PA
Salary: Rs.9030/- per month under the pay scale of Rs.7100-37600/- with grade pay of Rs.3600/-.
Note: 17 are existing vacancies and 36 are expected vacancies.
The position is based on temporary basis which can be made permanent after some time.
Qualification: Candidates must have passes higher secondary examinations from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education and also should posses speed of 120 wpm in shorthand and 30 wpm in typing. A certificate in computer training is also necessary.
Age: 18-32 years
Selection: It will be based on test of shorthand and computer test followed by an interview.
