4 posts are for Professors for the subject of Agricultural Entomology, Agricultural Engineering, Plant Pathology and Horticulture.
9 vacancies are for the post of Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry, Horticulture and Agricultural Entomology.
5 posts are vacant for Assistant Professors in the discipline of Genetics & Plant Breeding, Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry, Statistics and Computer Science.
Pay scale:
Post of Professor and Associate Professor are under the pay scale of Rs.37400-67000/- with AGP Rs.10000 & 9000/- respectively.
Post of Assistant professor is under the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100/- with Rs.6000/- as AGP.
Last Date for apply: 30th March 2012
Qualification: Ph.D qualification in the relevant discipline is essential for all the positions. Beside this, candidates applying for the post of Professor should posses minimum 10 years of teaching/ research experience in the relevant subject. At least 5 years of teaching/ research experience is required for the post of Associate Professors.
Candidates who have cleared the National Eligibility Test conducted by UGC can apply for the post of Assistant Professor.
