Uttarakhand Public Service Commission’s main duty is to conduct examinations for the appointments of various positions of the union and the services of the state. Their head office is located at Haridwar. It gives advice to the Government in matters related to the appointment, transfer and promotion of officers of various groups. It invites applications from Indian Nationals for various posts of Forest Rangers.
Eligible and interested candidates can apply by sending an application form in a prescribed format. Candidates applying for this post should be more than 21 years and even should be less than 35 years of age.
Total 60 posts are available for Forest Rangers.
Require Qualification: Candidates should be graduate with at least one of the subject of Agriculture, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, disciplines of Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Forestry, Geology, maths, Physics, statistics.
Pay scale: Selected candidates will get salary under the pay scale of Rs. 9300-34800/- /- along with grade pay of Rs. 4800/- per month.
Selection will be through preliminary examination, main examination and then at last shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
