TRB Jobs 2012 for Assistant Professors and Lecturer:
Teachers Recruitment Board was setup by the Government of Tail Nadu with the head office at Chennai. TRB participate in Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan started by the government for the development of the country. It is seeking highly qualified, dedicated and academically productive Assistant Professors from Indian Nationals who have strong commitment in innovative teaching and high quality research in various disciplines.
All the following posts are through direct recruitment basis. Interested candidates can apply before 5th March 2012. Selection will be through objective type written test which will be for the duration of 3 hours and will contain 150 questions based on main subjects and general knowledge. Date of written test is 8th April 2012.
Total 154 posts are vacant for Assistant Professors in both engineering and non engineering disciplines. All the posts are for Government Engineering colleges under Tamil Nadu Educational Service.
This post is for the subjects of English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Information Technology, Industrial Bio Technology, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Production Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, EIC, ECE and EEE under the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100/- with Academic Grade Pay of Rs.6000/-.
Eligibility: For this post, candidates should not be more than 57 years of age. Candidates with degree of B.E./ B.Tech and M.E./ M.Tech in the relevant discipline of engineering can apply for engineering posts. While candidates can apply for non engineering positions if he/she posses masters degree with minimum 55% marks in the relevant subject and have passed National Eligibility Test ( NET ) conducted by UGC, CSIR.
