Famous technical university of North India ‘Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology’ was setup in 1991 by the Government of India under the Ministry of Human Resource & Development at Sangrur of Punjab. SLIET has released an advertisement no.02/2012 in its official website for the recruitment of various non teaching positions.

Under the pay scale of Rs.37400-67000/-,
1 post is for Registrar and 1 vacancy is for Finance Officer. For both of these posts, candidates should posses masters degree with minimum 55% marks along with at least 15 years of experience as an Assistant Professor.
Under the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100/-,
2 vacancies are for Deputy Registrar, 1 is for Assistant Registrar, 1 is for Accounts Officer, 1 post is for Assistant Engineer in electrical field and 4 posts are for Medical Officer. Candidates applying for Assistant Registrar or Accounts Officer or Deputy Registrar should posses Masters degree with minimum 55% marks and should posses at least 3/ 8/ 9 years of experience respectively.
While for the post of Assistant Engineer, candidates should posses degree of BE/ B.Tech in electrical engineering with 5 years of experience and degree of MBBS is required for the post of Medical Officer.
