Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms is responsible for making business rules and rules of allocation for the development of state. Various vacancies are available in the Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms, Personnel Wing, Puducherry.
Only Indian nationals who are natives/ citizens of Union Territory of Puducherry can apply latest by 16th April 2012. The following posts are under the pay scale of Rs. 5200-20200/- with grade pay of Rs.1900/-.
Total 51 vacancies are for the post of Drivers Grade III. Out of these, 37 posts are for LMV Driver, 9 are for HMV Drivers and rest 5 is for Tractor Drivers.
Age limit: Candidates age should be above 18 years and should be below 32 years.
Qualification: Candidates interested in any of the above position should have passed 10th class and should posses a valid driving licence for LMV/ HMV/ Tractor.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience is also required. It is essential that candidates should pass the competency test in driving, traffic regulations.
Selection will be through preliminary test and main examination. Preliminary exam will be of 100 marks and will be further divided in objective type written test and skill test.
After clearing both of these tests, candidates will be called for main examination which will be of 100 marks.
