Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium Vacancies / JNP Bangalore Recruitment 2012:
JNP is controlled and administered by The Bangalore Association for Science Education which is commonly known as BASE. It is located at Bangalore. Including JNP, there are 5 planetariums in India located at New Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune and Allahabad. BASE invites applications from Indian Nationals for the post of Junior Planetarium Engineer and Junior Scientific Officer.
Selected candidates will get placement in Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by sending an application form in a prescribed format before 10th March 2012.
1 post is for Junior Planetarium Engineer and 1 is for Junior Scientific Officer. Knowledge of Kannada language is essential for both the posts.
Age limit: Candidates applying for any of the above post should not be more than 30 years of age.
Qualification: For the post of JPE, candidates should 1st class degree of BE/ B.Tech in electronics/ instrumentation. While 1st class degree of M.Sc in Physics or related topics is required for the post of JSO.
Pay scale: Both the above positions are under the pay scale of Rs.8825-16000/- per month.
Selection will be through personal interview.
