Jharkhand Public Service Commission’s basic duty is to conduct examinations and interviews for the recruitment of officers in various departments of the government of Jharkhand. JPSC is seeking for candidates having best qualification and experience according to the notification released in its official website for the recruitment of Assistant Engineers and Junior Engineers in various disciplines.
Interested citizens of India with the required qualification and experience can apply before 31st March 2012 by sending an application form in a prescribed format along with attested copies of certificates of qualification, experience, age proof, caste certificate and domicile certificate to the address of the Secretary, Jharkhand Public Service Commission, and Circular Road, Ranchi-834001.
Total 92 vacancies are for the post of Assistant Engineers and 1153 posts are for Junior Engineer. Both of these posts are in the discipline of Civil, Electrical and Mechanical. Vacancies of Assistant Engineers are for Construction Department, Payjal & Health Department, Mechanical Department and Electrical Department.
Post of Junior Engineers is for the department of Water Apparatus, Road Construction, Drinking Water, Sanitation and Energy department. All the vacancies are under the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800/- with grade pay of Rs.5400/- and Rs.4200/- per month respectively.
Eligibility criteria: Candidates applying for this post should be between 23-35 years of age and should be graduate in the relevant discipline.
Candidates has to appear in a written test and after that, shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
