Specialized experience is experience which is in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. The experience requirements for the GS-9 level may be met by completion of two (2) years of graduate level education or a master's degree in a position-related field of forestry or natural resources management.
Applicants are required to submit a copy of their Incident Qualification and Certification System Master Record. These are permanent positions with varying tours of duty and may include weekend work. Some positions may have irregular and protracted hours of work.
