An outstanding opportunity is available for a newly qualified, high calibre ACA to make their first step into commerce and join a leading FTSE listed brand name based in Hertfordshire.
This is a newly created role for a Financial Reporting Accountant to work in a fast paced, dynamic and growing finance department as part of their highly successful 'fast track’ talent planning scheme.
Initially working as part of a small team you will have involvement in preparation of the annual report and interim financial statements for the Group PLC and its subsidiary entities under IFRS.
This includes but is not limited to, providing technical advice and guidance, liaising with the Group’s auditors, accounting for the Group’s hedging instruments, borrowings and finance leases.
You will support the Financial Planning & Analysis team with fixed asset accounting and monthly/quarterly reporting and gradually take ownership of fixed asset accounting. The successful candidate will also be required to support the finance dept in ad hoc projects, process improvements, management reporting and other finance related projects driven by the growth of the business.
