Karnataka Power Corporation Limited (KPCL) was formed by Government of Karnataka in 1970. It is located at Bangalore. It is a specialists and professionally managed power Generation Company which has in total 35 dams and 24 power stations all over the state. It is basically known for investigation, designing and construction of Thermal, wind and solar power stations of Karnataka.
KPCL requires highly competent and dedicated professionals for various positions of Assistant Engineers and Junior Engineers. For this it invites applications from Indian nationals. Candidates applying for the following positions should posses all the basic qualifications as mentioned in the main advertisement no. When we talk about posts than 180 vacancies are for the post of Assistant Engineers under the pay scale of Rs. 8835 – 19935/-. For this posts, degree of BE or AMIE in the relevant discipline is required.
112 posts are for Junior Engineers. For this post, candidates should posses 3 years of diploma in the relevant discipline and selected candidates will get salary under the pay scale of Rs. 6685 – 18435/-. Proficiency in Kannada language is necessary. Selection will be based on written test which going to be conducted at Bangalore. Candidates has to bring 2 printouts of the acknowledgment with recent passport size photographs affixed and duly signed , original bank challan and relevant caste certificates at the time of written examination.
